Our oil-based perfumes are all about bringing you happiness and value, but if something’s not right, we’re here to sort it out. This Refunds and Returns Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, or exchanges – whether you picked up in-store or had it delivered. Let’s keep that smile on your face!

Our Promise to You

We stand by our products and want you to feel good about every purchase. If your perfume arrives damaged, isn’t what you ordered we’ll work with you to make it right. Here’s how it works:

How to Return or Exchange

  • Timeframe: Let us know within 7 days of getting your order – whether you picked it up at our Ermelo shop or it arrived via The Courier Guy.
  • How to Start: Give us a call at 0649503152 or shoot an email to info@simply-you.co.za. Tell us your order number (you’ll find it in your confirmation email) and what’s going on – we’ll take it from there.

If You Picked Up In-Store

  • What to Do: Pop back to 26 Kerk Street, Ermelo, Mpumalanga 2351, Shop 5 with your perfume and receipt (digital or paper).
  • Options: We’ll check it out and offer an exchange for another scent or a refund to your card (via PayFast) or cash if that’s how you paid.

If It Was Delivered

  • What to Do: Email us at info@simply-you.co.za or call 0649503152 within 7 days. We’ll give you instructions to send it back with The Courier Guy.
  • Shipping Costs: If it’s our mistake (like a broken bottle or wrong item), we’ll cover the return shipping. If it’s just not your vibe, you’ll handle the return cost (usually around R120, depending on your location).
  • Options: Once we get it back and check it, we’ll send you a replacement scent or process a refund through PayFast to your card – your choice!

When We’ll Refund or Exchange

  • Damaged or Faulty: If your perfume arrives cracked, leaking, or not working (like a stuck sprayer), we’ll swap it or refund you, no questions asked.
  • Wrong Item: Ordered one scent but got another? We’ll fix it fast with the right one or give your money back.

When We Can’t Refund or Exchange

  • Used Up: If you’ve gone through most of the bottle, we can’t take it back – but we’ll chat with you about finding a scent you’ll love next time.
  • Late Returns: After 7 days, we can’t process returns unless it’s a fault we missed (South African rules give us some wiggle room here).
  • No Proof: If you don’t have your order number or receipt, it’s tricky for us to help – so hang onto those!

How Long Does It Take?

  • In-Store: We’ll sort it out on the spot if you drop by.
  • Delivered Returns: Once we get your return (usually 5-7 working days via The Courier Guy), we’ll process your refund or exchange within 2-3 days. Refunds via PayFast might take another 3-5 days to show up on your card, depending on your bank.
